Hospital Visit
These apartments are right next door to Prince Charles and St Vincents Private Hospitals. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which was fantastic. They are clean, modern, spacious, comfortable & once you buy groceries (which they happily accept Woolworths or Coles deliveries!) you don’t need to leave because the kitchen even has a small stove and dishwasher. They also have some Foxtel channels which my young children very happy.
Staying here made it easy for my family to make frequent visits to see my husband with no hassle. It meant we could stay with him until visiting hours were finished at night time which made his hospital stay much better.
There is a bus stop almost out front of the apartments which meant we could go shopping often without the expense of taxi’s. There is an Aldi, chemist and other convenient shops just an easy 10 minute walk away or Chermside Shopping Centre is a 10 minute bus ride away.
The manager was lovely and couldn’t help us enough.
We highly recommend staying here, the convenience alone is worth every cent!
Everything they said was true
Recently my husband had heart surgery at St Vincents Private Hospital Northside Brisbane. I wanted to be there with him and after some research chose Essence Serviced Apartments.
Everything I was told by their reservation desk on booking proved to be true...
I walked out of the building on to the hospital grounds, the apartment was quiet, safe, comfortable and modern, the free breakfast was an opportunity to gather with people who were there for the same reason, other guests were friendly, the apartment was well serviced every day, shops were handy, staff were helpful and considerate and front desk staff were very flexible and understanding about my changing end date as discharge information changed.
I could not fault my ten day stay and was, as promised, completely supported during that time. My husband could see my unit from his hospital bed... even if he couldn’t it was a comfort to both my husband and myself that I could be so close and in accommodation where people actually cared.
Ideal Hospital Support Location
Located a couple of hundred metres from the Prince Charles Hospital, the accommodation was comfortable, well equipped and good value for money, even including a light breakfast daily. Highly recommend.
Convenience
Was really impressed with the service from staff . We arrived early and were able to stay in the visitors lounge until our room was ready. Our room was very clean and tidy. We overlooked a very busy main road but with the doors shut we did not hear any traffic noise at all. If we had been staying longer the kitchenette would have been ideal. I would definitely stay there again if the need arises.
Close to everything
Excellent security, staff, service and value for money. The apartment was family friendly and quiet. Having televisions in bedrooms as well as living area was great. Handy to have a dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer as we stayed for four days. The only thing that would have been better would if there had been mugs, those little cups just don't cut it in the hot weather...it's thirsty weather up there!
Clean, Convenient, quiet
This was our second stay at Essence Serviced Apartments. I have had to travel here to attend Holy Spirit Hospital. I was super pleased this time to have the same room that we received last time, as it was quite comfortable. We arrived late, and gave reception a heads up. They are always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have all the conveniences you could need such as a kitchenette with a small oven and dishwasher. Everything is always clean, and I like that we don't have to pack shampoo or soap as they provide a 3 in one dispenser in the bathroom.
So convenient for Hospitals and Chermside Shopping centre.
The Staff here were very helpful with our change of dates. We were involved in a 5 car pile up on the Bruce Highway towards Noosa the day we arrived in Brisbane. We were supposed to come on Saturday however as we had no car and my husband went into hospital we stayed at my Sons the extra day.
When I advised Essenes Apartments the simply changed or reservation to suit us.
Walking into a lovely fresh Apartment lovely comfortable bed and large kitchen was great.
